The thermostatic bath provides a superior thermal environement for the immersion of the probe.
As there is no air space between the probe and the heather, it offers greater stability and precision.
The internal mixing allows a very uniform distribution of the medium.
Methanol is used for temperatures below 0 °C, water for temperatures from 0 to 80 °C and silicone oil for temperatures up to 250 °C.
